Legendary Soviet portrait lens Jupiter-9 85mm f2 with a Nikon F mount, based on the famous Carl Zeiss Sonnar. Adjusted for Nikon F cameras, including focusing infinity. The early white rangefinder version from the 1960s that had been remade to a Nikkor bayonet. The first white rangefinder version that has the best optical quality comparing to late black Jupiter-9 lenses.
The lens is in good fully working condition with light signs of use on the body. The optics are clear, without haze, fungus etc.And with a bit of usual for old lens dust inside. Some tiniest cleaning marks on the glass coating and a couple of tiny air bubbles inside, allowed by those times standards. The inner coating of the front glass is damaged (photo 2,3), but as it`s at the edge of the glass, and the lens center is intact, it should not critically affect picture quality on the half-frame cameras (see the last photo), where only the lens center is used to make a picture.
The focusing is working good. The aperture blades are free of oil. I do my best to describe an item in details, but if you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
